Exchange America has been in existence and on the Web, since 1995.  Since then, we have been building a unique, receptive database of real estate, business and related opportunity buyers, sellers and exchangors.  These "data users" are both brokers and principals and they are both online and offline.  In order to communicate with these users, we program and host web pages and we broadcast have and want opportunities to them by email and fax. 

We've built our user database in primarily two ways.  Initially, we traveled around the Country presenting our program in front of various exchange and other real estate-oriented groups.   Now, as a service to these groups, we promote their special meetings in our monthly broadcasts.  In return, they fax us their meeting rosters so we can add new members and keep our information as current as possible.

The second way we've built our user base, is with on-going email submissions from active online buyers, sellers and exchangors from around the Country and around the World. They may be inquiring about our advertisers, our services or they may be submitting their own haves and wants for our offline "Meet-Your-Match" Database.  Another way we get our users is thru the referrals of other users.

Once these active buyers, sellers and exchangors are entered into our database, they receive our free real estate and related have/want broadcasts, by email or by fax.  The opportunities then go up on our web site for exposure to new users.  We also mail these broadcasts to a limited number of people who have neither fax or email capability.   In addition, we have a cooperative advertising agreement with a national real estate publication to offer additional exposure.

These broadcasts expose our services and haves and wants to our users on a regular basis.  No need to rely on our information just being found on the Web, since we get the information directly to our users.  These broadcasts also make it possible for us to network with and between online and offline users.

WEB PAGE(S) ADVERTISING...

We also program and/or host low-cost have/want Web Page(s) ads. Web Page ads also receive a free announcement in our Monthly Features' broadcast. They are "released" to Online Directories and each ad receives its own submittable email form.

Web Pages are programmed and/or hosted for up to six months and Feature broadcasts are hosted for three months. Paid ads are eligible for an optional "blended" service we call our "Free-Until-Matched" service. That is, advertisers receive free contact with those who email, fax or call them regarding their paid ad and, if they desire, we can give them additional exposure for a fee, if we find a match.

FREE-UNTIL-MATCHED OPTION...

If the advertiser requests the "Free-Until-Matched" option, we can make their have/want information available to other data users we come in contact with offline.   We may offer their information to people we come in contact with at meetings and seminars or those who call in to request database searches on our 800#.  We can also make matches from information submitted to our Meet-Your-Match Database when we see a potential match there.

MEET-YOUR-MATCH DATABASE...

Online users may submit their haves and wants to our Meet-Your-Match Database for free. Offline users pay a small data entry fee for us to enter their information for them. Users may also offer or accept barter to effect transactions. Exchange America may accept barter for our data-match fee, if mutually agreed.

We will let those in our Meet-Your-Match Database know if there appears to be a match for their have or want on a Free-Until-Matched basis.  If a match results, a small data-match fee is charged to all parties matched by us at closing. Or, if a principal is matched to a broker who has a match, the principal negotiates a fee with the broker. The broker pays us a small referral fee and the principal may also receive help with closing costs or a gift from us at closing.

ONLINE DATABASE PLANNED...

Our longer-range plan is to be able offer this offline, Meet-Your-Match database information online to paid subscribers. Coming soon! Online meeting rooms are being constructed so that data users may negotiate transactions in our meeting rooms in a "real time" manner.  We are experimenting with various online formats.  Online meetings may be thematic or may involve haves or wants that involve a certain location.  Online meetings will be announced in conjunction with our broadcast services. More information.

Our broadcast services up until now have been supported by those who place a low-cost ad or ads in our Monthly and Special, single-client Broadcasts with either the have or want being based in the US.  With an increasing demand for more localized services, we've begun a careful search for complimentary sponsors in order to expand these services.  Sponsors will be considered charter members and offered the first shot to participate in new opportunities - like the online Meeting Rooms and online database - as they develop.
