This is an Arial view of Earlville, home of the Wallace House.

It’s a nice place to live and work, only 70 miles from Chicago. If you like the idea of small town living, two hours from one of the most exciting cities in the world, this may be your place.

EARLVILLE

ILLINOIS

Ever want to move away to a small town? Earlville, a town of 1400, is only 30 minutes from department store shopping, but sitting in the middle of farm fields. Earlville has a middle school and high school that just received a grant to build a new gymnasium and to expand its rooms.

There are 2 grocery stores, a car wash a Subway sandwich store, a vet a doctor and a dentist. We have one of the last drive-in movies and a 4-lane bowling alley. The National Bank of Earlville is one of the strongest in the area. The downtown is scheduled to be restored back to the way it looked at the turn of the century within the next year and a half. It will have new sidewalks, water lines, street lights, and handicap ramps.
